Outstanding High School Award
The program was started in 2009 to afford high school students the opportunity to be exposed to cutting-edge research at an early age. The program also allows graduate students to be involved in outreach, connect to the next generation and inspire long-term interest in research. The winners of the Outstanding High School Student Science Award receive $250, a certificate and the opportunity to gain experience in a research environment.
