Language Monitor Centre

The Language Monitor Centre offers free, one-to-one instruction to improve students’ proficiency in various subjects of language. Our goal is to help students meet their academic potential and even exceed academic expectations. We help students with assignments, vocabulary, grammar, writing, reading, pronunciation, and many more. Feel free to drop in and improve your skills!

The Language Monitor Center is located on the third floor of the Kina Wiiya Enadong Building (formerly the Social Sciences Building), MW391
 

FRENCH

Marcin Janczak: 

  • Wednesdays, from 3:00 – 4:00pm: in-person office hours, MW 391
  • Wednesdays, from 4:00 – 6:00pm: Table française (Wed Jan 17 – Wed Feb 14, Seminar/Meeting Room). First hour (4:00 – 5:00pm) is for beginner/introductory students and the second hour (5:00 – 6:00pm) is for more advanced students. 
  • Thursdays, from 5:30 – 6:30pm: virtual office hours, Zoom. Students should email Marcin (marcin.janczak@mail.utoronto.ca) in advance if they wish to book an online appointment.
