Biography: 

Eri Takahashi (Ph.D., University of Maryland) is a Lecturer of Linguistics and Japanese in the Centre for French and Linguistics.
 
Her area of specialization is first language acquisition and her research focuses on infants’ acquisition of phrase structure and how it interacts with statistical learning. She has also worked on the acquisition of referential pronouns and Japanese speech perception. She holds a Japanese Language Teaching Competency certificate and has extensive laboratory experience with various psycholinguistic techniques (behavioral, eye-tracking, EEG, MEG).
