From July 15 - 26, 2002, a group of professors, community members and educators from the University of Toronto and various institutions of higher education from across China came together for an innovative Summer Institute on Feminist Pedagogy and Women's Studies curriculum development. Leading feminist scholars met at the workshops to explore feminist research and teaching initiatives for higher education in China and in Canada. The workshop was based on the years of fruitful collaboration of feminist scholars at the University of Toronto and several major universities in China.
