Now Hiring: Indigenous Curator

The DMG is hiring an Indigenous Curator, for a full-time, one-year term position, with the possibility of renewal. Under general direction of the Director/Chief Curator, the Indigenous Curator will be responsible for initiating, researching, interpreting, developing, and implementing a cycle of exhibitions and related programming for the Doris McCarthy Gallery. Deadline to apply is September 2, 2018.


Indigenous Youth Artist-in-Residence Program

We are excited to welcome Animikii Maakaai-Hollingsworth and Miranda Whiteloon to campus this fall & winter, as Indigenous youth artists-in-residence! The residency -- a collaboration between the DMG, Native Child and Family Services of Toronto 7th Generation Image Makers Program, and Studio program, Department of Arts, Culture & Media at U of T Scarborough -- offers work space, a stipend, and access to campus resources, events, staff, and faculty, and will culminate with a presentation of completed work.

The DMG is closed for the summer from July 1 - September 3, 2018.
