In this session, we'll explore the most common challenges faced by graduate students on their journey to completing a successful dissertation. A general overview of the following topics will be provided: research topic selection and scope, time management, accessing resources, writing skills and tips, research methods, literature reviews, managing the student-supervisor relationship, staying motivated under stress, effective feedback incorporation and revision strategies, making significant contributions to knowledge, and mastering formatting and submission requirements. The workshop is designed to be dynamic and responsive, with ample opportunity for attendees to ask questions and discuss specific concerns.
