Global Mobility 101:
The Global Mobility Program provides UTSC students with the unique opportunity to travel the world, immerse themselves in different cultures, while simultaneously earning academic credits. The University of Toronto has a variety of international programs for students to study, research, or work abroad. These programs provide students with insights into the real world, and help them develop interpersonal and strong communication skills, as well as enhance future employment opportunities. Join this session to learn about global mobility options, funding, and application procedures.

This workshop is VIRTUAL. We will be using the platform: Zoom. If you want to test your system before the event, please follow these instructions.

Learning Goals:
  • Self-Development is a student's process of building and understanding who they are as individuals, and their impact on others and society. Self-Development is important as students face challenges, learn to adapt, and discover what is important to their identities
  • Local-Global Community Engagement is a student's ability to meaningfully interact in the various communities to which they can belong (campus, local and global). Rooted in principle of EDI, it creates opportunities for students to make meaning of their own identity, their belonging, and their individual and collective impacts in local and global communities.
