DBT-Informed Skills for Surfing Stress and Emotions

This DBT informed group will introduce participants to skills they can use to manage their reactions to stress and emotions. At each rolling admission week participants will be oriented to the upcoming materials including distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness skills. A variety of methods will be used including handouts, short videos and practice using skills.

  • Week 3 - States of Mind and Walking the Middle Path
  • Week 4 - Distress Tolerance part 1
  • Week 5 - Distress Tolerance part 2  
  • Week 6 - Distress Tolerance part 3
  • Week 7 - Emotion Regulation part 1
  • Week 8 - Emotion Regulation part 2
  • Week 9 - Emotion Regulation part 3
  • Week 10 - Interpersonal Effectiveness part 1
  • Week 11 - Interpersonal Effectiveness part 2
