Understanding Yourself, Understanding Your Anxiety

Thursday, June 3, 2021, 05:00 pm - 06:30 pm

You are not alone, to experience anxiety. Anxiety makes you feel worried, nervous and uneasy-constantly. Anxiety is the most common psychological concern among post-secondary students, exacerbated many folds in wake of COVID-19, racial inequalities and uncertainties. No matter, how your anxiety manifests, this eight week series of workshops offer you practical, relevant and effective strategies, including specific mindfulness-based practices to deal with anxiety. Each session begins and ends with a brief mindfulness practice.

Registration closes at 8am the day prior to the workshop.  The Counsellor facilitating will email you one day prior to this workshop the Microsoft Teams link to join.

If you missed registering for this workshop on CLNx, please email health-services@utsc.utoronto.ca to inquire how to join.
