  1. What can you tell us about a project you are currently working on?  I am currently preparing for the March Showcase taking place on Saturday, 23 March. Along with our wonderful student volunteers, we will be taking prospective students and their parents on a tour of Centennial College’s Paramedicine facilities and labs at Morningside campus.
  2. If you had to define yourself in three words, what would they be?  Kind, helpful, creative
  3. What do you enjoy most about your role?  I love working with students and helping them any way I can. It always brightens my day when I can help ease students’ anxieties or concerns.
  4. Why U of T Scarborough?  UTSC has always felt like home. I loved the beautiful architectures, amazing professors, and diverse students. When I started my undergrad in 2019, I enjoyed the vibrant community that was built, and the seclusion of our campus. Even during the pandemic, it was great to see students and staff interacting online, allowing us to momentarily forget that we were at home. Once I stated working in this role in 2022, I loved that the people who helped me in my academic journey were the ones I got to work with! The staff, students, and faculty are amazing people! The Starbucks in the meeting place is also a plus!
  5. What important lesson have you learned in your current role?  I learned that its ok to ask for help. When I first started, I was combing through previous notes and documents, trying to understand everything. I didn’t want to bother anyone with excessive questions, but my manager and colleagues were so supportive and helpful. After talking with them, I was able to understand the role better.
  6. What is the one thing people likely do not know about you?  I love reading! My favourite genre is rom-com. I also like to watch the cheesy Hallmark movies.
  7. Which movie, book, or show makes you laugh the most?
I think I’m old school because I Love Lucy was a show I watched with my grandma when I was young and it still makes me laugh!
