April Franco

Biography

Professor April Franco will serve as the Special Advisor to the VP Dean on Management during her term as Chair of the Department of Management. Along with her priorities as the academic administrator of the unit, she will also represent the needs and aspirations of the Department of Management at various decanal and campus committees and provide guidance to the VP Dean and other decanal members on a range of academic and campus matters. 

Professor Franco in this role will work to foster greater interaction between the Department of Management and other academic units at U of T Scarborough to leverage Management’s leadership in experiential learning and curricular innovations. Finally, an important goal will be to provide guidance to the VP Dean on how to move forward on the recommendations stemming from the external review of the Department of Management.
