Scarborough and Rouge Hospital is happy to serve the international students in the Scarborough community.
When you visit a Scarborough medical center please provide proof of valid health coverage (Guard Me or UHIP card). This has to be a hard copy so that the hospital can keep it on file for direct billing.
Please keep in mind:
- The hospital will not accept proof of coverage by students showing Guard Me or UHIP cards on their phones
- The hospital will not print out the cards
- Not providing proper proof of health coverage means that you will be responsible for paying the Facility Deposit
- The hospital will not process direct billing to UHIP or Guard Me
