There are many ways the UTSC Library and The BRIDGE can provide you with expert help and services. We also can offer special accommodations for book renewal and returns to extend due dates under special circumstances (see instructions below). Get Online Help
Last minute citation question? Want help with research? Need to reach us from off campus? Ask us! You can email us, phone or chat with us from the convenience of your home! The Ask a Librarian Chat service is staffed by University of Toronto Librarians but at peak service times or off-hours you may be chatting with a librarian from another academic library.
Contact your Liaison Librarian for a remote consultation via phone, email, or Skype.

The UofT Libraries have loads of digital materials available for you if you can’t make it to campus to pick up physical items.

Articles & Databases
We have hundreds of databases that provide access to digital articles, video, and more!
If you are not on campus, use the UTORvpn (only available for faculty, staff and MAccFin students) or log in with your UTORid and password via the Libraries website to access library databases and other resources.
Renew Books Online
You can also renew your books online - just log into your library account. You will see your active loans displayed. Look for the title you need to renew and use the check boxes to mark individual items to renew. You can also renew all your active loans by selecting Renew All.
Return course reserves or reference materials to staff at the UTSC Library’s Information and Reference Desk, or The BRIDGE Information Desk. If there is no one at the Desk, return these items to the drop box across from the Desk. Return interlibrary loan materials to the Information and Reference Desk at the main library.
Return all other materials to the drop box across from the Desk, or in the external drop-box located outside the main library doors (across from Tim Horton's).
Please do not return equipment (calculators, cables, headphones, etc.) via the book returns drop boxes. If the library is closed due to unforeseen circumstances when your equipment items are due, please return them to a service desk the next time we are open and we will amend any fines.
If an item is due and the borrower does not want to come to campus to return it (due to illness or other extenuating circumstances), they should keep it until they are able to safely return it. If they are charged late fees, they can appeal the fine after it is returned. We understand that this is a special situation, and special considerations will be made.
Regular circulating items can also be returned to Robarts Library on the St. George campus or the UTM Library on the Mississauga campus.
If the Library is closed when you need to return your items, they will be back-dated when we open again.
Intercampus Delivery & Interlibrary Loan
We can deliver journal articles and scanned book chapters from the UofT Libraries collection and from other libraries directly to you at no charge.

The InfoExpress service is available for current MAccFin students, faculty and staff only.
