Entrepreneurship Research Training

Take part in the U of T Entrepreneurship Research Workshops (ERW) series and enhance your business formation experience through evidence-based research and data.

The Entrepreneurship Research Workshops are part of the University's Co-Curricular Record (CCR) program. Undergraduates who complete a series of sessions get official recognition from the University.

The ERW program is open to undergraduate and graduate students, along with staff, and faculty.

Workshops in the series include: 

Introductory (3 hours)

  • Launch Pad
  • Company & Competitor Research
  • Industry Research

In-depth (2 hours)

  • Primary Research 
  • Researching your Business Model Canvas 
  • Data Resources for Entrepreneurs
  • Patent Research 

Students must attend five hours (3+2), plus complete reflection document. Sessions are open to all students, faculty, and staff. Undergraduate and graduate students are eligible for CCR.
