*UPDATE* - Our Bike Share program is currently on hiatus, as we try to identify new front line staffing resources.
Want to go for a ride in the valley? Bike to a local shop to run an errand?
The U of T Scarborough BikeShare program has you covered!
Free to all students, staff, and faculty, our program has a fleet of safe, functional bicycles that can be loaned out from the Green Path kiosk in the Residence Centre from May-August.
To use the program, bring your T-Card to the Green Path Kiosk, sign a waiver, and enjoy our bikes.
May - August: Bikes can be loaned out from 8am and must be returned by 8pm on the same day, seven days a weeks.
Why is it important?
The Bike Share program provides students with the opportunity to reduce their carbon footprint in their daily lives by being more mindful of their transportation methods.
In addition, this initiative mainly reflects the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal #7 (affordable and clean energy), #12 (responsible consumption and production), Goal #13 (climate change), Goal #15 (life on land).
