First Year Learning Communities (FLCs) are open to all first year students. Below, discover with FLC is best for you!

Arts, Social Sciences & Humanities

The Arts FLC is open to all first-year students accepted to the following programs: Social Sciences & Humanities; French; Visual & Performing Arts, Arts Management & Media; and/or Journalism.

 

Computer Science, Math & Statistics

The Computer Science, Math & Statistics FLC is open to all first-year students accepted to the following programs: Applied Statistics; Computer Science; Mathematics; and/or Statistics.

Life Sciences 

The Life Sciences FLC is open to all first-year students accepted to the following programs: Biology; Conservation & Biodiversity; Human Biology; Integrative Biology; Molecular Biology; Molecular Biology & Biotechnology; Molecular Biology, Immunology & Disease; Neuroscience; and/or Plant Biology.

Management

Management Learning Communities are hosted by the UTSC’s Management department. To learn more, please visit the management website

Physical & Environmental Sciences

The Physical & Environmental Sciences FLC is open to all first-year students accepted to program-related Physical & Environmental Sciences.  

Psychological & Health Sciences
 

The Psychological & Health Sciences FLC is open to all first-year students accepted to the following programs: Mental Health Studies; Health Studies; Psychology; and/or Paramedicine.

Living Learning Communities

Living Learning Communities (LLCs) are open to all first year students who have been accepted to UTSC Residence.
 

Health & Wellbeing

The Health & Wellbeing LLC is open to all first year students living on residence who are passionate about healthy living, personal wellness and community support. This community will host and participate in events to promote wellness opportunities for the UTSC Residence Community.

Global Citizens

The Global Citizens LLC is open to all first year students living on residence who have a desire to learn and exchange global perspectives, while helping to create intercultural opportunities for the UTSC Residence Community.
