Odds are you are probably starting your countdown until the first day of spring or the last day of classes by now. Of course, both are coming so it’s a good time to start planning ahead.
Maybe you’re focused on wrapping up major assignments and preparing for final exams or thinking about student housing and a summer job. In any case getting a head start on it all is the way to go and we’re here to help. Have a quick look at the resources available for each:
- To help with course work and assignments, there’s a ton of academic resources on campus depending on what your needs are.
- For exams preparation, start by checking out the final exam schedule online and take part in a Study Success Session. Academic and learning strategists offer these sessions every week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at noon.
- If you’re interested in exploring your housing options, there’s an Off Campus Housing Workshop on March 10th from 3-5pm in MW110. This workshop is open to all students!
- A handy resource for job hunting is the Career Learning Network (CLN). You can find on- and off-campus work as well as causal employment.
As we move closer to the end of the semester and you’re looking for a change of pace, don’t forget every Wednesday there’s a drop-in relaxation and meditation session from 3-4pm in SL279. Or, spend a day volunteering in the community on March 17th with the East Scarborough Boys and Girls Club.
Finding balance in your academic and campus life is all part of the student experience. It’s important to stay healthy and resilient for your success. The Office of Student Affairs & Services is here to support you. Below you will find a list of our departments. You can also stay connected to us with the new UTSC Student Experience App.
