Many of us need to be on campus outside of regular operating hours and are left to walk to and from campus alone, which can be unsettling for some of us, especially as the days grow darker earlier in the midst of seasonal changes.
If you are ever in a scenario where you feel uneasy walking the campus grounds by yourself, please use our Travel Safer Service! This program was designed to help students, staff, faculty and librarians to feel safer on campus, by providing travel assistance with one of our patrol officers to help you to and from your on-campus destinations.
To use our Travel Safer Service, all you have to do is:
- Download the U of T Safety app today! App store or google play.
- Don't have the app, call Campus Safety Communications from any phone at 416-978-SAFE (7233).
- Tell us where you are located on campus and state that you require the Travel Safer service. We’ll send a member of Building Patrol or Campus Safety to travel with you.

- You can call our 24/7-hour service at (416) 287-7022 and pre-book your travel assistance with one of our Building Patrollers who will meet you at your requested location and escort you to your on-campus destination.
