Youth Leadership Certificate Program (LIT)

Provide your teen the opportunity to discover their leadership potential in an enriched and empowering learning space this summer!

Our Youth Leadership Certificate program (Leaders-in-Training) will take place in-person and will provide a safe environment for teens to learn, make new friends, while being supported by experienced program facilitators comprised of U of T staff, faculty,

alumni, camp counsellors and community partners. The leadership program provides comprehensive character-building workshops in which youth develop critical thinking skills by discussing and learning about a variety of global topics, while honing leadership skills completing a series of introspective assignments working in small groups. Most importantly, they build confidence, self-awareness, and the motivation and tools to set and accomplish goals while being their authentic selves.

LEADERSHIP WORKSHOPS

The general duration of each workshop is between 1-3 hours. Workshops are facilitated by U of T Scarborough staff, faculty, alumni, Leadership Counsellors and external community partners.
