Join us for an online science chase: learn about birds, bugs, invertebrates and all about digestion.
Activities include —
Bug House and invertebrates: Learn what makes an invertebrate an invertebrate and the role they play as pollinators in their respective ecosystems, and build your own Air BEE-N-BEE!
Birds & their adaptations: comparing and contrasting beaks, feet, feathers of African penguins, Crested Seriema and Bald Eagles.
Learn all about digestion by comparing different types of adaptations for digestion from 3 species: giraffe (rumination), human-like (orangutan or gorilla), reptile (reticulated python) and build your own model of a human digestive system using materials you have at home.

Celebrate Science Rendezvous with the Toronto Zoo! Meet some Zoo staff to learn about their unique and exciting careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEAM) within the Toronto Zoo, why staff love what they do for work each day and what it took to get there! Ask questions in the chat bar for a chance to have your question answered live on camera!
