Summer 2022 Fees Invoicing, Payment and Refund Dates

Fee Assessment/ Invoices available	April 11
Deadline to register by paying or deferring your fees*	April 20
Fee deferral request period	April 12 - April 20
Late registration penalty applied at the Registrar's Office if you enrol in your initial course(s) after April 20	April 21
Financial cancellation and course removal date due to non-payment or unsuccessful fee deferral	May 3
Deadline to cancel F or Y registration (i.e., drop all of your courses) with no minimum charge	May 8
Deadline to cancel S registration (i.e., drop all of your courses) with no minimum charge	June 26
Deadline to pay Summer semester balance to avoid service charges	May 31
Monthly service charges applied to all accounts with an outstanding Summer semester balance on these dates until fees are paid in full	June 15, July 15, August 15, etc.

*Students who rely on financial aid to pay their registration fee are advised to apply for funding early in order to request a tuition fee deferral. Students who are deemed ineligible for a fee deferral are required to make a tuition payment on their own to register, and reserve their spot in the courses they have chosen. Make financial arrangements early

Fee Deferral	Apr 20, 2022	Apply for a fee deferral on ACORN during this period. Allow at least 7 days from the day you submitted your OSAP extension (or application on OSAP website) for us to update the Fee Deferral database. If you experience any problems, contact the Registrar’s Office immediately via email: askro.utsc@utoronto.ca Eligibility for a fee deferral can be found on our website.
Student Aid Funding
Full Time Studies (FT) OSAP & other provincial funding programs	If you require a fee deferral, apply by: Apr 3, 2022	We expect all students requiring a fee deferral to register to apply for funding by the suggested deadline. How to apply? Out-of-Province Students: visit the U of T Enrolment Services website for more information. OSAP Students: visit the UTSC Summer Funding webpage for more information.
Part Time Studies (PT) OSAP & other provincial funding programs	If you require a fee deferral, apply by: Apr 3, 2022	We expect all students requiring a fee deferral to register to apply for funding by the suggested deadline. Apply for Part Time OSAP online on the OSAP website. Out-of-Province students must apply through their home province’s online portal. For more information on application deadlines, please visit the U of T Enrolment Services website for more information.
OSAP Supporting Documents, Reviews & Appeals	May 16, 2022 May to June (F) July 17, 2022 May to Aug (Y) & July to August (S)	Supporting documentation and appeals must be received by the deadline date (40 days prior to the last day of the study period). This is a hard deadline. These deadlines apply to both Full Time and Part Time OSAP application.
Continuation of Interest Free Status (CIFS)	June 4, 2022 May to June (F) August 5, 2022 May to Aug (Y) & July to August (S)	Apply for CIFS by logging in to your OSAP Account. Start a new application by choosing the Interest Free option. Who should use this application? 1. Students participating in a co-op work term during the 2022 Summer session are advised to complete this application, if they are not applying for OSAP funding. 2. Students who are attending classes on a full-time basis and who are not applying for OSAP funding for the summer. Follow up with National Student Loan Service Centre approximately 15 days after submission on your OSAP account: 1-888-815-4514 or via www.nslsc.ca
UTSC Grant/Bursary -Online Application	August 8, 2022	Apply for financial assistance using the online application at the U of T Grant Application Portal starting on May 8, 2022.
