Casual Research Participants

The Department of Psychology seeks casual/occasional adult research participants on an ongoing basis for our many studies in psychology and neuroscience. These studies are paid.

We seek individuals 18 years of age or older who are not currently enrolled in our first-year PSYA01/PSYA02 psychology courses. Participants take part in a broad range of activities, including (but not limited to):

  • Computer-based tasks
  • Surveys
  • Interviews
  • Simulations
  • Pencil-and-paper tasks
  • Scans of brain structure/activity (via EEG, fMRI, MRI, or other methods)

Interested individuals must create a profile in our Adult Volunteer Panel registry and answer some basic questions about themselves in order to be contacted for studies for which they qualify.
