Camp U of T Scarborough provides a diverse program curriculum of weekly virtual camps for children ages 6 – 12 over a 6-week period from July 6 – August 14.
The virtual camps offered are Baking, Cooking, STEAM Lego, Magic Science, Adventure, Visual Arts, Arts and Crafts including Indigenous programming. All virtual camps and programs are facilitated by U of T Scarborough staff, alumni, community partners and program leaders. Some of the programs require supplies to be purchased, please view the virtual program descriptions here. Parents/Guardians of registered campers will be contacted in advance in regard to the supplies required and will be sent a reminder.
All virtual camps will operate through the Zoom Video platform for a duration of 1 – 3 hours each day. Virtual recreational programs such as Yoga and Dance will also be conducted through the Zoom platform for a duration of 30-minutes to an hour.
The Zoom meeting link will be sent to all registered program participants on the Friday before the start of the program of the upcoming week. Registered participants are encouraged to log-in to their scheduled program 15-minutes prior to the start of the program to mitigate technical challenges that may occur and to ask the program facilitators any questions they may have.
