Director of Publications

Marlon Mortilla is a second-year student working towards an undergraduate degree in Public Policy and City Studies. Marlon currently serves as the Director of Publications for the Political Science Students’ Association, leading the creation of ResPublica: Undergraduate Journal of Political Science. He is excited to spearhead the creation of a student-led journal publication that allows undergrad students to showcase their brightest and best ideas. A passion for critically studying intergovernmental relations was forged within him during his time in undergrad. Marlon is also a contributor to The Varsity, having interviewed Scarborough politicians and fulfilling photography requests. He is currently working as an Audio-Visual Technician at the University of Toronto. Much of his success he attributes to the kindness of those he learned under as the professors and teaching assistants of the department became invaluable mentors academically and personally. In his spare time, Marlon enjoys creating artwork and going on photography walks.
