Khalil-Najir Miles

Khalil-Najir Miles is a student within the Political Science program, who serves his student body as the Director of Political and Vice-President Academics within the PSSA. He has a passion for debating, sports, and learning about past political conflicts and the issues facing the western world today. What he likes most about the department is the scholarly environment it fosters as being surrounded by knowledgeable students along with professors who are experts in their field helps in expanding his interest and aptitude within the program. Khalil-Najir has had the pleasure of working with the City of Toronto, Toronto Public Health, and the Toronto Police Service in the implementation of community events within schools. He is currently a program coordinator with York Region in crafting cultural initiatives for Black youth and is a member of the Whitby Youth Constituency Council, where he hopes to bring awareness to and tackle important social issues.
