Funding
All students admitted to the PhD program will be offered a minimum annual funding package for up to five years; provided that they are making satisfactory progress in the doctoral program. The 2023-24 minimum annual stipend is $23,500 plus tuition and incidental fees (base package includes 140 TA hours). Funding packages are made up of a combination of University of Toronto internal fellowships, teaching assistantships, research stipends and external and internal scholarships.
