Research Opportunities

Dr. Dere supervises undergraduate student researchers in the Psychology Department at UTSC. Students can undertake independent research projects as part of the Supervised Independent Study in Psychology (PSYC90) course or the Honours Thesis in Psychology (PSYD98) course. A limited number of research students are accepted each year. Please visit the Psychology Department webpage for further information about these two courses (https://www.utsc.utoronto.ca/psych/experiential-learning). Dr. Dere does not supervise graduate students.

The Cultural-Clinical Psychology Lab also has opportunities for dedicated volunteers to assist with ongoing research projects and other lab activities. Openings for volunteers vary depending on need.
