""
The University of Toronto Scarborough Black Students in Business club is proud to announce the 4th annual LEAD Conference, which aims to emphasize careers in business and encourage Black high school students to pursue higher education.

Conference Overview

With the theme “Unveiling your Potential,” this year’s LEAD Conference will focus on the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, potential careers in business, and valuable information on accessing higher education at the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC).

One of the many barriers to building a fulfilling career is understanding the multitude of options available and how to access those options. UTSC staff, faculty, and alumni will share knowledge and pertinent information on various options to access post-secondary education and increase participants’ understanding of how to overcome barriers.

Event Objectives

  • To introduce students to the UTSC Management program and gain an understanding of the application process.
  • To build connections with UTSC students, staff, faculty, and industry professionals.
  • To shed light on the benefits of the BBA degree and pathways of access to a fulfilling career.
Target Audience: Black-identifying students in grades 9 to 12.
