Chris Bovaird is an Associate Professor in Strategic Management in the Department of Management at the University of Toronto Scarborough. Chris has been lecturing in business, management, corporate strategy, corporate finance, entrepreneurship and new business planning for nearly 30 years.

Prior to joining the University of Toronto, Chris taught in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Waterloo, at the Scottish Enterprise Foundation, and at the University of Stirling in the UK.

Chris has held Senior Management posts in banking and financial services in New York, London (UK), and in Canada. As a self-employed consultant he has delivered courses on investment appraisal, financial management, and the management of contracts for Shell, Unilever, Scottish Nuclear Limited, and the Dutch national gas company. His consulting career has taken him to Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

Chris Bovaird is the author of books on venture capital, financing enterprise, business and management.
