Why did you choose UTSC Management? I picked this program because of its tagline “Experience to Lead”. That’s exactly what this program gives you; an opportunity to really try out new things and discover where your passions lie. This program gives you more than just a business education.

What has been the highlight of your experience so far? The small knit community has to be the highlight. You’re not just a number here and with the fewer number of students, you get to know everyone in your year as well as those in the years above and below you.

What are your goals after this program and how is this program helping you to achieve them? I would eventually like to move into public policy but for now there’s still a lot to learn in the private sector. I’d like to use the network that I’ve built from this program and see where my career takes me in the coming years.

What is the biggest hidden gem about the UTSC campus location? There’s a valley in the backyard of UTSC. Not many campuses can say that they have a gorgeous view only a short walk away. In the summer time, it’s really relaxing to walk down to the valley and just lie on the grass wondering what’s next.

What are some of your favourite Management courses you have taken? "Recruitment and Selection" (MGHD25) – In this course, you really learn the behind the scenes of how recruitment actually works. "Narratives and Management" (MGSC14) – It teaches you how to compose a personal narrative while watching award winning movies about public and private organizations.
