See below for current and past opportunities for undergraduate service-learning and research positions, graduate teaching assistantships (TAships), and other Health Humanities-related opportunities open to UTSC undergraduate students and graduate students from the University of Toronto.

  • July 2016: Now accepting applications from UTSC undergrads for the first SCOPE Social Media Intern! Apply directly via the SCOPE Contact form with a 500-word proposed project plan; deadline August 1.
  • July 2016: UTSC Health Humanities Undergraduate Service Learning placements for 2016-17 (HLTB50, HLTC50). Deadline August 1. These service-learning opportunities are an excellent chance for students that have taken the course and wish to return to facilitate the education of their peers in Health Humanities.
  • June 2016: Graduate Teaching Assistantships for HLTB50 (Introduction to Health Humanities; Fall 2016) and HLTC50 (The Human-Animal Interface, Winter 2017) are now available. Details here.
  • November 2015: Prof. Charise will be accepting one advanced (final year or near graduate) undergraduate UTSC student for an independent research study in Winter 2016 (course code HLTD01). Apply directly via email with a proposed project title and 500-word outline; deadline December 1.
