I was born and raised in Zambia. I attended U of T as an International student, and graduated with a B.A. in Sociology. I also hold a post-graduate diploma in Social Service Work from George Brown College, with a Registered Social Service Worker (RSSW) designation.
Experience: I have over a decade of experience working in the area of mental health and addiction. I use a trauma-informed, strengths-based and client-centred approach. My area of expertise is case management and counselling.
Things I love: humour, swimming, fashion, theatre, music and art.
I identify myself as a heterosexual, an East Asian woman who grew up in South Korea and immigrated to Canada as a teen. I completed my Master of Social Work at U of T in 2012 and have been working in the mental health field ever since.
Experience:The area of focus in my social work practice has been working with young adults and adults with mood disorders and psychosis. I am passionate about providing client-centered, strength-based support using an anti-oppressive framework.
Things I love: spending time with my son, watching the rain, traveling, and watching movies/shows.
