UTSC Summer Semester Residence

Summer residence is available from May to August for current University of Toronto students, International Visiting Graduate Student as well as post-secondary students who are either studying or working in the Toronto area. Full semester and partial semester stays are offered (min. 4 weeks). There is no minimum course load requirement for summer residence.

Summer residents enjoy the convenience of living a short walk from classes and other amenities during the beautiful summer months on campus. Residence life activities provide opportunities for residents to engage with their peers and help them feel at home in a safe, fun, and inclusive community.

Students living in summer residence will be placed in single bedrooms in either the Joan Foley Hall apartments or townhouses. Suites are shared with four to six students.

Visit the UTSC Student Housing and Residence's website for further information, including important dates and instructions on how to apply.

Off-campus Housing Listings

The University of Toronto maintains an off-campus housing listing of rental units for students, faculty, and staff. The information about rental properties is provided by the property owners. Students and others seeking to rent a property are responsible for making appropriate inquiries before agreeing to rent a property.

The site features rental housing found near all three campuses: Mississauga, downtown Toronto, and Scarborough.  The site allows you to save and compare listings and sublets; view buy and sell boards; search for a roommate; review a comprehensive collection of helpful resources.

To sign up for the U of T listings site, visit the off-campus housing's website. If you are not yet a student of postdoc, you can sign in using the guest option.

More information on off-Campus housing is available at the UTSC Student Housing and Residence's website
