Information for international students/students arriving from outside of Canada
- For students arriving from outside of Canada, the University of Toronto has implemented a Mandatory Quarantine Accommodation program that will start on August 15th. Find more information on the University of Toronto's Quarantine Program.
- For international students new to U of T in 2020-21, learn more about the University Health Insurance Program (UHIP) during COVID-19 and how to dis-enrolle for the fall 2020 semester if you are studying remotely outside for Ontario.
Academic Support for Graduate Student at UTSC
- GPS courses and grad professional events are still happening remotely, check our Events webage to know the details.
- Online writing support for graduate students and post docs is still available on Mondays from 11am to 02pm. Login to WCOnline to book an appointment and choose online option. E-mail Cindy Bongard for any questions/concerns.
- Career Development Services team in the Academic Advising & Career Centre remains available to support students via phone and video for appointments on topics such as job search in a competitive environment, including resumes for ATS and LinkedIn; interviewing strategies for phone and webcam, and virtual networking; planning for graduate / professional school and college skills training; career planning in changeable circumstances. Appointment can be booked Monday-Thursday 10am-4pm, Friday 10am-3pm by phone at 416-287-7561 or by email at aacc@utsc.utoronto.ca (please use your mail.utoronto.ca email) with your detailed availability.
- If you have an upcoming Final Oral Exam, the Vice-Dean Graduate and Postdoctoral office can help to troubleshoot any problems that may arise about proceeding with the exam.

The Canada Emergency Student Benefit (CESB) is now open for application. The Office of the Vice-Principal Academic & Dean has launched the UTSC COVID-19 Emergency Graduate Student Bursary to support graduate students facing financial difficulty as a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Office of the Vice-Principal Academic & Dean has launched the UTSC COVID-19 Program Completion Award to support full-time students in the PhD in Environmental Science or PhD in Counselling & Clinical Psychology (Clinical Psychology Field) who, for reasons due to COVID-19, require additional time in their program that takes them beyond the program length required for their degree.
UTSC COVID-19 Research Pivot Fund
The Office of the Vice-Principal Academic & Dean has launched the UTSC COVID-19 Research Pivot Fund to support full-time students in the PhD in Environmental Science and MA or PhD in Counselling & Clinical Psychology (Clinical Psychology Field) who must pivot their research plans due to a COVID-19 related disruption.
