We have put in place many safety and health protocals to help keep you safe while your on campus.
Transact Mobile Ordering
- Mobile App available to remove cash transactions at outletts around campus
- Look for in Google Play or Apple Store: Transact Mobile
Physical Distancing
- Capacity limitations for seating areas and Marketplace capacity
- Adding floor markers and directions signage in high traffic areas
- Adding plexiglass barriers where possible at points of service
Cleaning and Sanitization
- Enhanced cleaning, sanitization and disinfection in high traffic areas with an increased focus given to higg-touch surfaces
- Committed to continuing to use high quality and effective cleaning products in accordance with Ontario Public Health
- Employees are provided with detailed Standard Operating Procedures and guidelines for each cleaning product to ensure proper usage
Hand Hygiene
- Increased hand-sanitizing stations in place throughout the seating areas and service areas
- Employees are required to practice frequent and rigorous handwashing
- Students and members of the university community are also encouraged to wash their hands frequently for their own safety and the safety of others
- Only use non-contact methods of greeting one another, such as a wave
Wellness Checkpoints
- Regular staff health screenings
- Door greeters and screeners conducting guest wellness checks at entrances
Personal Pertection Equipment
- Food Services staff are required to wear masks while working, as well as gloves
Cutlery and Prepackaged Foods
- Single use cutlery will be made available to use at all Food Service locations and self serve options will be replaced with prepackaged items
- Self serve stations will replaced with pre-packaged items
