The UTSC English Department, in partnership with The Toronto International Festival of Authors, welcomes you to LIT ON TOUR: IN CONVERSATION WITH MAUREEN JENNINGS & HELENA JANECZEK
Wednesday 30 October
7:30pm
Ralph Campbell Lounge
Two celebrated authors, Maureen Jennings and Helena Janeczek, each offer a reading from their respective novels, Heat Wave and The Girl with the Leica. To follow, there will be an intimate discussion about the subjects of their historically-based works – women in traditionally male-dominated fields – with Canadian poet, film director, and UTSC creative writing professor Daniel Scott Tysdal. Both books will be available for purchase.
Tickets for students are free, but please register at Eventbrite: https://my.harbourfrontcentre.com/single/SelectSeating.aspx?p=34538
