Feb 8 & 9: Early Modern Songscapes

The Centre for Reformation and Renaissance Studies (CRRS) presents the launch of "Early Modern Songscapes"! Hosted on February 8th and 9th, this international and interdisciplinary conference incorporates a range of formats from paper sessions to roundtable discussions to digital media presentations. Scholars of music, literature, theatre, and digital humanities of the sixteenth and seventeenth century will be in attendance. 

Keynote speakers include Dr. Patricia Fumerton (University of California, Santa Barbara), Dr. Whitney Trettien (University of Pennsylvania), and Dr. Amanda Eubanks Winkler (Syracuse University). There will also be perfromances by Rebecca Claborn (mezzo-soprano), Lawrence Wiliford (tenor), and Lucas Harris (lute).
