UTSC English invites you to take a creative study break, enjoy some food and good company, and express your feelings about and experiences with our department. On Tuesday 25 February, from 4-6pm, we'll be in the Library Makerspace, playing with all kinds of "making" materials -- from buttons and stickers to legos and play-dough to markers and book crafting.
There's no goal and no expectation beyond spending some time exercising the creative sides of our brains during the stressful midterm season. However, some designs that come out of our making session could become "official" promotional material for our department's outreach efforts -- your work could end up being the "face" of our department!
We're intending this event to be a celebration of the work we do in English, Film, and Creative Writing... but please do bring your friends from other departments if you want to show off how great we are.
