Emerging Voices has been an evolving initiative headed by SELF (Students of English Literature & Film), encompassing creative writing conferences and workshops, as well as a creative writing magazine which launched in Spring 2019. Emerging Voices seeks to engage with the ever-growing community of creative writers on campus regardless of program. This magazine features students of all disciplines ranging from psychology to environmental chemistry to theatre. The mission of this magazine is to spotlight new and emerging writers in the UTSC community, and they are thrilled these writers come from so many different areas of expertise.
