Congratulations to our creative writing program supervisor, Daniel Tysdal, whose story "Humanity's Wing" was runner-up in the 2018 Peter Hinchcliffe Fiction Award competition organized by the Canadian literary journal The New Quarterly. "Humanity's Wing" is based on our own H-Wing, and we couldn't be prouder.
Daniel's poems "Spring" and "Don" also received honourable mentions in the Nick Blatchford Occasional Verse Award category.
