Congratulations to Sonja Nikkila and Amy Coté, who each won a 2018 UTSC Teaching Award!
Dr. Nikk received the award in the Assistant Professor / Lecturer category, and Amy received the Graduate Teaching Assistant award.
Dr. Nikk has been in the English Department since 2009, teaching classes in Victorian literature, genre fiction, and introductory literary analysis. Amy is a doctoral candidate at the St. George Campus, working in Victorian literature and religion, and she has been a TA at UTSC since 2016, for classes such as ENGB03: Critical Thinking About Narrative and ENGB28: Charting Literary History II.
