Passionate about languages and language teaching, I earned a B.A. in modern languages (Spanish, French, English and Italian) from the Universidad de los Andes, in my native country Venezuela, in 2010. In 2014, I earned a M.A. in French linguistics, sociolinguistics and didactics from the Université de Rouen in France. I am currently a PhD candidate in the Department of French at the University of Toronto. My fields of research are French morphology and the acquisition of French phonetics and phonology. My dissertation explores the properties of French deverbal eventive nouns. I have also conducted research in French L2 learning and teaching.
