Marie-Thérèse Ballin

I have a PhD in French literature, specializing in the 17th century, and my work focused on satirical anecdotes and how they reflect historical/societal events. But beyond my main research focus, I am interested in all aspects of French literature and history, and French/francophone culture, past and current. 

This year I have started a post doc project with professeur Sébastien Drouin; it is an editing project on an eighteenth century correspondence. 

To me, literature is the ultimate tool that allows us to grasp the infinite nuances of human soul, and it is a never ending discovery.
