Flora Mikula - A passionate Chef

Flora Mikula grew up in Avignon where she did her schooling and her cooking apprenticeship to Christian Etienne (one Michelin star in Avignon). Her traveller’ side takes her in every corner of the world, from New- York to Saint-Barth via London. It is thanks to her work with the renowned Chefs such as Jean-Michel Lorrain (3 Michelin stars), Jean-Pierre Vigato (2 Michelin stars), Laurent Manrique (San Francisco, 2 Michelin stars) and she became the second of Alain Passard (3 Michelin stars in Paris) for 2 years.
Her numerous experiences urge her to open her first restaurant "Les Olivades" in 1996. “Les Olivades” was a provencal bistrot. She was one of the best bistronomic restaurant in Paris, same time of “La Régalade”, “Chez Michel”, “L’Epine du Pin”.
She wrote her first book “Ma Provence dans votre assiette” in 2000. She got a Michelin Bib gourmand for this restaurant.
In 2002, she launches into new gastronomic adventure at the heart of prestigious 8th district, where she associates her name with her cooking "Les Saveurs de Flora".
She has been élue Chef of the year in 2009 by Pudlowski. She can cook all over the world for food festival and promoted her cooking.
In 2010, her passion for the journeys calls her back, she leaves the Parisian Triangle d’Or and returns with a new innovative concept: the Auberge Flora, opened in June, 2012.

The Auberge Flora – a real urban inn

The Auberge Flora is an urban and offbeat inn, at the heart of the district of Bastille and close to the Marais, where the user-friendliness is in the place of honour.
Thanks to her inn, Flora Mikula gives a real sense to « Food and Shelter ». She offers a parisian place to live, an unique concept for each moment of the day.
Inspired by Flora Mikula, twenty one rooms were decorated in a very original way and staged by Sébastien d’Evry and his team of the agency Simone&Hug. Chapters of a life, touches of a spirit, bits of heartfelt passion caress every room. In every floor, each room is a real nest of elegance and well-being, Flora Mikula’s reflection of the personality, at the same time smart and bohemian, urban and natural, generous and greedy. Auberge Flora became Auberge of the year in 2013 by Pudlowski and best restaurant by Condenas travel “parmi” 70 best restaurants in the world.
Regarding the restaurant, the Chef Flora Mikula shares her pleasure of the taste by proposing a Mediterranean flavors’ cooking, with as signature the “Arbre à Tapas”. Breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner and recently afternoon snack, her restaurant is placed under the sign of the Bistronomy, opened 7 days a week, from 7.00am till 11.00pm.
Flora Mikula also develops an important activity of advice for brands of food-processing industry. Media Chef, she likes sharing her love of the good products and the cooking with the public through the broadcast interviews and in radio. She is regularly in various French Cooking TV shows (e.g. Masterchef on TF1, Dans la peau d’un chef on France 2, Les escapades de Petitrenaud on France 5).

She is the Executif Chef of 5 restaurants: 2 in Bordeaux (France), 1 in Reims (France), 1 in La Baule (France), and 1 in Porto (Portugal) and will be soon in Megeve (France).
