The Annual University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC) Donation Drive has now been completed for 2023.
Each November and December, UTSC community, staff and faculty donate food, toys and clothing to its local community through the Scarborough Centre for Healthy Communities and the CP24 CHUM Christmas Wish.
Total 2023 Donations Collected:
Food - 1398 lbs.
Toys - 312 toys
Clothing – 18 bags
There were many involved in our donation drive who worked hard behind the scenes to make this drive possible and successful. We would like to recognize them for their contribution to the donation drive:
- Children, Parents & Staff from the N’Sheemaehn Child Care Center
- Maintenance crew who have helped us throughout the drive by delivering, picking up sleighs and setting up for Packing Day.
- Caretaking Staff
- Food and Beverage Services
- Donation Ambassadors
- Packing Day Volunteers
- Organizers of events held by Business Development and Principal’s Office for collecting donations at their events
Additionally, a heart-felt thank you to everyone at our campus who made a donation to help support Scarborough residents in need this holiday season. With your help, we have made a difference.
