Join us Wednesday, September 23rd, as colleges and universities across the country take part in Terry's CAUSE on Campus. Inspired by Terry Fox's Marathon of Hope, the University of Toronto will work towards Terry's dream of a world free of cancer. This is U of T's 4th annual Terry's CAUSE on Campus event. Participants are encouraged to come out to run or walk, and help us make this year our biggest year yet! Students, faculty, and staff from all three campuses are welcome to attend.
The event will take place here, at UTSC, in the Lower Valley Campus (130 Old Kingston Road). Start time is 3pm, with shuttle buses scheduled to run to and from campus every 15 minutes starting at 2:15pm. Buses will be leaving from outside the Student Centre.
In addition to the run/walk, there will be a warm-up to start, a DJ, and a BBQ to follow. Individuals who fundraise a minimum of $5.00 or more will receive a complimentary meal consisting of either a hot dog or hamburger and a drink post event. Students, staff and faculty are encouraged to register and participate as a group or as an individual. Those who register as a group and bring five or more individuals from the same department, club, or sports team will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win one of our team prizes! All individuals who register will also be entered into a separate raffle for one of our fabulous prize packs!
Students, staff and faculty from the downtown campus who are interested in taking the TTC together to the event are to meet at the St. George Street entrance to the St. George station at 1:15pm the day of.
