Meet Oviya, third-year Molecular Biology & Technology Co-op student and first place recipient of the UTSC Undergraduate Research Poster Forum competition, for her research on stressors and protective factors in practicing Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID).
The UTSC Undergraduate Research Poster Forum is a competitive, adjudicated event that promotes intellectual exchange and gives students an opportunity to develop presentation skills by disseminating new research and creative activities both to academic communities and non-specialists. Oviya was amongst 40 research abstracts submitted, and secured the first place prize.
