UTSC Partners in Leadership Alumni Mentorship Program

"Mentoring is a brain to pick, an ear to listen, and a push in the right direction"
– John C. Crosby

The goal of the UTSC Partners in Leadership Alumni Mentorship program (PIL) is to tap into the vast professional experience of U of T Scarborough alumni to help our graduating students transition from student life to work life and assist in strengthening their self image and vision of their possible futures.

With PIL we aim to provide experiential learning for our students by infusing our alumni community and resources into student life, in order to enrich the overall student experience.

We are excited to announce that we are now coordinating our program through our new exclusive online community, UTSC Connect!  In addition to mentorship programming, the platform offers many of other opportunities to connect with fellow students, alumni, faculty, staff, friends of the University and many others.

For students, if you are entering your final year and would like to participate as a mentee, you must complete the student mentee registration on UTSC Connect* (available in August 2022) and take part in one of our orientation sessions.

For our alumni, if you would like to reconnect with UTSC and make a difference in the life of a current undergraduate as mentor in the program, register on UTSC Connect* to become a Partner in Leadership!

*If you are a member of our UTSC Community already and are interested in the program, please email regan.tigno@utoronto.ca and he will add you to the program and guide you through next steps.
