U of T Scarborough Geographic Access Bursary

The University of Toronto Scarborough Geographic Access Bursary is an initiative from the Office of the Dean that supports access to post-secondary education for students who live more than 50 kilometres away from an Ontario university and demonstrate financial need.

The U of T Scarborough Geographic Access Bursary supports students who attend U of T Scarborough by providing $4,500 towards tuition, student fees, and Student Housing & Residence Life fees (if applicable). Eligible students will automatically be considered for this bursary. 

To qualify for this bursary, students must:

  • Live more than 50 kilometres away from an Ontario university.
  • Apply for Student Housing & Residence Life via U of T's StarRez portal (if planning to live on campus) by March 31, 2024.
  • Accept an offer of admission to U of T Scarborough by the deadline listed in your offer letter (available in your JOIN U of T portal).
  • Apply for OSAP by June 30, 2024.
