Major in Chemistry (Co-op) and Double Minor in Applied Statistics and Environmental Sciences
Why did you decide to come to U of T Scarborough?
I chose to come to U of T Scarborough because I was very excited about the Valley Land Trail being a part of our campus, as well as the campus community that I learned about during an info session.
What's the best part of your program?
The best part of my program is learning things in class and being able to apply the knowledge into the work field through co-op. The labs for Chemistry and Environmental Sciences are also very fun as you get to learn usage of day-to-day things such as the concentration of minerals in water, making soap, etc.
What campus activities are you involved in?
I have been involved on campus since my second year working for Student Housing & Residence Life, helping with Orientation and working with ARTSIDEOUT. I am currently the Volunteer & Outreach Coordinator for the Co-op Students' Association (CSA).
What's your favorite thing to do in your spare time?
Painting and figure skating.
If you could give one piece of advice to your first-year self, what would it be?
Get involved from the start within your classes and/or within the whole campus and it will truly make your university experience better!
